A Curation of thoughts about Osama bin Laden
Here’s an anonymous collection of thoughts and feelings about bin Laden as found on Facebook:
Osama bin Laden killed in Pakistan — my own life feels so small beside this fact.
The ability of the Obama security team to be able to keep this all under wraps is simply amazing.
all is said and done, time to sleep. goodnight America, rest well.
Osama is dead. Almost 10 years in the making, finally, dead.
just finished watching Obama’s speech to the nation with my sister, sharing historical moments.
YO!! YOU SEE WHERE OSAMA WAS FOUND???
so proud to be an American
If only people would support our troops like this more often…
Celebrating any death is not the way to show that you belong to God.
Osama is dead, following a week of absolutely nauseating royal wedding coverage. Coincidence? You decide.
HE WAS LIVING IN A MANSION OUTSIDE ISLAMABAD?!?!?
proud americans are scary.
well, CNN.com crashed. good thing i have Facebook to keep me updated.
Holy crap. We got him!
I’m trying to make a joke about tracking down Obi-Wan Kenobi, but it’s just not coming together.

Holy shit the U.S. killed Osama Bin Laden
Vengeful murder is nothing to celebrate. Nor does it represent peace, Obama.
The only thing to question about this murder was the price tag and the casualties, and the disruption of sound policy making (ok ok a lot). But Osama being dead. Definitely increases peace.
Nice work America!
Ok folks, so we got him. Remember though, terrorism isn’t a single person but a belief. While the message is stronger with central leadership, it will still exist until xenophobia ends and people start finding common ground… Oh hell yeah I’m still going to drink though!
So is this moment supposed to justify ten years of imperialism and murder?
“America can do whatever it sets its mind to.” Even if it wants to be a ballerina or a football star! Free to be you and me, U.S.A.
Love.
Osama’s been dead to me for a long time. #whitegirlproblems
